George Kingswood Recites the Consecration of Ra's Temple
Consecration of the Temple
Work through my eyes O Ra, the great!
Fly to my hands and consecrate!
Appear thee here to sanctify
Bestow your sight and purify,
The temple I hold in my grasp
A blackened room, an iris clamp
The shuttered doorway holds back light
For when it opens you take flight.
Through the lens, behind the mirror
Where halides wait to surrender
A sacrifice of pure silver
Harvest of auspicious treasure.
Aspect of the Benu-Phoenix
Where every oracle predicts
The places where you manifest
In all the Temple’s sacred texts.
Enter now, your sanctuary
As my divine luminary
Now, raise your Was and thus bestow
Blessings that transmute lead to gold.
Your life-force brings the room to life
The underworld and earth rejoice.
This holy place, a living space
Where miracles flow and blaze.
Grant this temple, now awakened
As a tool for your connection
In every second, captured flame
The trigger fires and calls your name.
A temple dark that holds truth
Of gods and men and lumen’s proof
Where magic flows, within and out
As hands of Aten, bless this house.
